Lemon Bay High School
(In Progress)

Englewood, FL

Charlotte County School Board | 366,600 SF | 2013 (estimated)

Lemon Bay High School is undergoing a multi-phased replacement of the former high school that was destroyed by Hurricane Charley in 2004. Although Harvard Jolly previously completed a master plan for Lemon Bay High School a few years earlier, we were asked to do it again after the hurricane.

The reconstruction of the school will be implemented in several phases. These phases consist of renovations to the remaining buildings and new additions to nearly two-thirds of the campus. The project will also add new athletic facilities, including a gymnasium, auxiliary gym, locker rooms, fitness center, wrestling room, and dance room.

The 366,600 square foot school is targeted for LEED Gold certification.
