As the only freestanding psychiatric hospital in Pasco County, the Morton Plant North Bay Recovery Center provides a complete range of behavioral health and wellness treatment options for adults, children and adolescents who require inpatient care. The new 72-bed licensed psychiatric hospital has 56 adult beds and 16 beds for adolescents, while providing an atmosphere that is both peaceful and safe for each patient.
This project entailed a complete renovation of a 20-year hospital building which included current code upgrades, hurricane hardening and preparedness, and full AHCA reviews and approvals.
