Park Station

Pinellas Park, FL

City of Pinellas Park | 16,792 SF | 2004

Located on the site of Pinellas Park's original railroad station, Park Station is the city's new signature building. The design of the two-story brick and stone building emulates traditional American train stations from the late 1800s, as it is aligned with the railroad tracks, and includes a canopy that runs parallel to them.

The facility houses the city's Media and Public Events Division, Art Society, Historical Society, and Chamber of Commerce. One of its striking features is the illuminated four-sided clock tower which can be seen from blocks away. A 42-foot skylit grand hall that serves as a multipurpose space for art shows, receptions and community meetings.
