City of Hialeah
Public Works Facility
(In Progress)
Hialeah, FL
City of Hialeah | 13,000 SF | TBD
In order to achieve the City of Hialeah’s goal of keeping its public works facility in continuous operation during this major improvement project, Harvard Jolly organized the work required into multiple phases consisting of demolition, new construction and remodeling/renovation.
A complete program of required spaces was created to maximize the facility’s use and determine total space requirements. Site modifications incorporate the new replacement facility and relocation of amenities such as the lay down yard, fleet parking and service areas.
The first phase will consist of the demolition of two buildings to make room for the new facility and the redevelopment of the site to expand the parking area and site amenities.
The second phase will include the construction of a new building for supporting offices, shops, parts storage area and three service bays.
The third phase will include an infill addition to the existing structure, which will become part of the new entry for the customer services department.
The final phase of the plan will include the remodeling/renovation of 13,000 square feet.
